SUMMARY OF CHARGES

ORDERS OVER $149: Standard delivery is FREE for all orders.
- ORDERS UNDER $149: A flat-rate charge of $8.75 will apply.
These charges cover the postage of an unlimited quantity of items to any destination within Australia. Delivery is via Australia Post's Standard Delivery service and includes tracking. Please see below for further details regarding upgrading to Express Delivery, if required.
Please Note: Once an order has been placed, delivery addresses generally cannot be amended due to our prompt dispatch process. Please make sure that you enter your correct address during checkout.

POSTAGE SERVICE OPTIONS
(AUSTRALIA ONLY)
The following options are available. For delivery timeframes, please refer to the Australia Post website for the most up to date details.

STANDARD POSTAGE: Your parcel will be sent via Australia Post's Standard delivery service. The delivery timeframe will vary depending upon your location and proximity to Victoria. Delivery to WA, NT and rural/remote areas in other states may take 10+ business days, especially during peak periods.
- EXPRESS POSTAGE: Your parcel will be sent via Australia Post's Express delivery service. Applicable postcodes (and their associated delivery timeframes) can be found on the Australia Post website. Express delivery can only be provided if your entire order contains non-flammable items (eg. no nail polish/lacquer).
FLAMMABLE ITEMS (SUCH AS NAIL POLISH) CANNOT BE SENT VIA THE EXPRESS SERVICE. Due to freight restrictions, these items must be sent via Road Transport using the Standard service only. Parcels travelling by road may take a few extra days to be delivered. If Express Postage is selected for any orders containing flammable items, the parcel will be sent via Standard Postage instead (but upgraded to "Signature on Delivery" to compensate for the extra postage amount paid). |
IMPORTANT INFORMATION

SAFE DROP: The receiver may request "safe drop" for parcels (where available), however Discount Cosmetics Australia cannot be held liable for any subsequent damage to parcels, or for any missing/stolen parcels. Occasionally, a delivery driver may decide not to leave a parcel (i.e. if it is deemed unsafe) and it may be taken to an Australia Post outlet instead. If this happens, Australia Post will be in contact with you - usually via email, SMS or the MyPost mobile app. Please ensure that your parcel is collected within the stipulated timeframe so it is not returned to us.

MISSING/LOST PARCELS: Parcels are very occasionally lost in transit by the postal carrier, especially during peak delivery periods. Please check the tracking for your parcel on the Australia Post website and if you believe your parcel is lost/missing, please get in contact with us as soon as possible. We'll initiate an investigation with Australia Post, and if the parcel is deemed to be lost in transit, a full refund will be provided to you.

RETURNED PARCELS: Parcels are sometimes returned to us by the postal carrier. This is generally because the parcel was not collected within the stipulated timeframe, if a parcel was redirected while mid-route, or if an incorrect address was provided during checkout. If your parcel is returned to us, please note that we will NOT automatically re-send the parcel out to you for free. The parcel will ONLY be re-sent if the customer agrees to;
1) Pay the additional postage charge (including if the parcel was originally sent with free delivery),
2) Reimburse us for any charges/fees imposed by the postal carrier,
3) Supply their correct delivery address to us in writing (i.e. by email).
Alternatively, if the customer does not agree to the above and/or does not want the parcel to be resent, then a refund will be issued instead. This refund amount will be the original order/purchase amount MINUS any postage charges (i.e. the original postage charge and any fees/charges imposed on us by the carrier). All refunds will be issued back to the original payment method.
